Who we are
A medium sized family run business based in Birmingham, UK, with on-site manufacturing and distribution facilities at our head office.
We have on-site manufacturing and distribution facilities at our head office located near the M6 and M42 motorways; strategically placed to serve our nationwide customers from this central location. Services are offered to the UK and on the continent.
We have a team of factory based engineers and a mobile task force to install all of our manufactured products and ventilation systems. All of our engineers carry the company uniform including identification badges for security purposes. Vehicles are fully equipped with all of the tools required to complete your project to the highest possible standard. Our team are trained in first aid and hold the necessary qualifications, backed up by our Constructionline and SafeContractor accreditation.
All of our products are sourced for their performance, quality and cost effectiveness, giving us a quick turnaround on delivery for breakdowns and retail sales.
We pride ourselves on working closely with local manufacturers and contractors to deliver a friendly yet professional service. All of this maintains our reputation of providing quality, performance and cost-effectiveness.

A brief history
From apprentice to a one stop shop
The business grew out of hands-on manufacturing and installation experience, and that is still how it is run today.
- 1990
A sheet metal apprenticeship
The company director started as a 17 year old sheet metal apprentice, manufacturing ventilation duct for a medium sized business in Birmingham.

Kitchen ventilation manufacture
Working for a kitchen ventilation manufacturer, specialising in stainless steel fabrications such as canopies, tabling, hot cupboards and ducting, all made by hand. He progressed to the installation of ventilation systems, covering the complete process from production to full installation on site.

Designing and delivering UK-wide
Designing, measuring, manufacturing and installing commercial kitchen ventilation systems for clients around the UK, with a thorough understanding of manufacturing and experience of delivering the full service with clients.

The Springfield Group launches
The company launched as it is known today, after several years of hard work late into the evenings, renting equipment and manufacturing space, and saving to buy his own equipment and business premises. The aim was a 'one stop shop' able to deliver the full process and products in-house.

A family run business
The company has evolved into a family run business that prides itself on a friendly service with full aftercare at competitive prices. Its reputation has built up nationally, with leading clients including Papa John's, Domino's, KFC and Cosmo Restaurants among many more.
